An Empty Canvas<\/strong><\/span>
\nLife is like a painting,<\/strong><\/span>
\nWith lots of colors and hues.<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe bits and pieces that float aloof,<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe brush of time to stitch things loose.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Like the strokes from the painters brush,<\/strong><\/span>
\nNothing makes much sense now<\/strong><\/span>
\nBut when we step back and look at the finished painting,<\/strong><\/span>
\nWe cant stop wondering how.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The shades of colors, the variety of moods<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe sad days and the pastel greys and blues,<\/strong><\/span>
\nEach stroke from the painters brush,<\/strong><\/span>
\nReminds me that life is what I choose.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

An empty mind and an empty canvas,<\/strong><\/span>
\nare one in the way I see<\/strong><\/span>
\nLike the painters brush doing the magic,<\/strong><\/span>
\nI will color my life the way I want it to be!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

He starts musing every now and then,<\/strong><\/span>
\nto check the painting against his painted mind.<\/strong><\/span>
\nHe chuckles looking at the painting, unfinished<\/strong><\/span>
\nFor only he knows the beauty that’s hidden behind.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
