தமிழிசை மீட்புப் போராளியாக இருந்து தமிழகம் முழுவதும் முப்பது ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாகப் பயணம் செய்து தமிழிசை பரப்பிய இசைமேதை பண்ணாராய்ச்சி வித்தகர் குடந்தை ப. சுந்தரேசனார் அவர்களின் தமிழிசைப் பணி தமிழுலகம் கொண்டாடப்பட வேண்டிய ஒரு பணியாகும். இந்த இசையறிஞரின் வாழ்க்கையையும், பாடலையும் பொதிகை தொலைக்காட்சி ஒளிபரப்ப உள்ளது.

மாநாட்டில் பங்குபெற ஆய்வுச் சுருக்கங்கள் அனுப்புவதற்கான முதல் அறிவிப்பு

உலகத் தமிழ்த் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப மன்றம் (உத்தமம்) அடுத்த (13வது) தமிழ் இணைய மாநாட்டைப் புதுச்சேரியில் 2014, செப்டம்பர் மாதம் 19-21 தேதிகளில் நடத்த உள்ளது என்பதை மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் தெரிவிக்கின்றது. உத்தமம் தமிழ் இணைய மாநாட்டைப் புதுச்சேரியில் புதுவை பல்கலைக்கழகம், புதுவை தமிழ்ச் சங்கம், புதுவை மொழியியல் மற்றும் பண்பாட்டு நிறுவனம், பல்லவன் கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள், இந்திய மொழிகளுக்கான  மத்திய ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் ஆகியவற்றின் ஆதரவுடன் நடத்த உள்ளது.

மாநாடு நடைபெறுவதற்கான செயற்குழுக்கள் பல அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அவற்றில் ஒன்றான “மாநாட்டு நிகழ்ச்சிக் குழு”விற்கு மாநாட்டின் தொழில்நுட்ப அரங்குகளில் படைக்க உள்ள ஆராய்ச்சிக் கட்டுரைகளை ஒன்றுசேர்த்து, பரிசீலனை செய்து, தக்க கட்டுரைகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் பொறுப்பு கொடுக்கப் பட்டுள்ளது.

ஒவ்வொரு மாநாட்டிலும் ஒரு தலைப்பு முதன்மைத்  தலைப்பாகக் கொடுக்கப்படும்.

இவ்வகையில் 2014 மாநாட்டிற்குத் “தமிழ் மொழியில் இயல்மொழிப் பகுப்பாய்வு” முதன்மைத் தலைப்பாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்-பட்டுள்ளது.

மாநாட்டிற்கான கட்டுரைகள் கீழ்க்கண்ட தலைப்புகளில் ஏதாவது ஒன்றில் அமையும் வகையில் தங்களது கட்டுரைச் சுருக்கத்தை அனுப்பும்படி கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறோம்.

• இயல்மொழிப் பகுப்பாய்வு – தமிழ்ச் சொல்லாளர்(சொற்பிழை திருத்தி,

    சந்திப்பிழை திருத்தி…) ஒளியெழுத்துணரி, இயந்திர மொழிபெயர்ப்பு, தமிழ் எழுத்துரு  பகுப்பான்கள், தமிழ்ப் பேச்சுப் பகுப்பாய்வு, தேடுபொறிகள், தமிழ்த்திறனாய்வு நிரல்கள்,     இலக்கணத் திருத்திகள், மின்னகராதி அமைத்தல்…

• கையடக்கக் கணினிகளில் தமிழ்ப் பயன்பாடும் அவற்றின் செயலிகளைத் தரப்படுத்தல், இக்கருவிகளில் பயன்படுத்தத் தேவையான தமிழ்க் கணினி குறுஞ்செயலிகள்   (முக்கியமாக ஆப்பிள், ஆண்ட்ராய்டு, விண்டோஸ்)

• திறவூற்றுத் தமிழ் மென்பொருள்கள், தன்மொழியாக்கம்.

•  கணினி மற்றும் இணையவழி தமிழ்க் கல்வி கற்றல், கற்பித்தல்.

• தமிழ் இணையம், தமிழ் வலைப்பூக்கள், விக்கிபீடியா, சமூக இணையதளங்கள்

• தமிழ் மின்நூலகங்கள், மின்பதிப்புகள், இணைய, கணினிவழி தமிழ் நூல்கள் ஆய்வு,     கையடக்க மின்படிப்பான்களில் தமிழ் நூல்கள்….• தமிழ் மின்வணிகம் மற்றும் பிற தமிழ்ப் பயன்பாட்டு நோக்குடன் தயாரிக்கப்-பட்ட

   கணினி மென்பொருள்கள்.

மாநாட்டு ஆய்வரங்குகளில் கட்டுரை படைக்க விரும்புவோர் தாங்கள் படைக்க இருக்கும் கட்டுரையின் சுருக்கத்தை A4 தாள் அளவில் 1-2 பக்கங்களில் ஜூன் 30ஆம் தேதிக்குள் cpc2014@infitt.org  என்ற மின்னஞ்சலுக்கு அனுப்புமாறு கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறோம்.

கட்டுரைச் சுருக்கம் மற்றும் கட்டுரை தமிழ் ஒருங்குறியில் மட்டுமே பெற்றுக்கொள்ள இயலும் என்பதைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறோம். கட்டுரைச் சுருக்கம் ஆங்கிலத்திலோ (அ) தமிழிலோ (அ) தமிழும் ஆங்கிலமும் கலந்தோ நீங்கள் படைக்கலாம்.

மாநாட்டுக்குழு உங்களின் படைப்புகளை மிகக் கவனமாக ஆய்ந்தறிந்து மாநாட்டில் படைக்கும் தரம் கொண்ட கட்டுரைச் சுருக்கங்களைத் தேர்வு செய்யும். தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்ட கட்டுரைச் சுருக்கங்களின் விவரம் அதற்கான ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு  ஜூலை 31ஆம் தேதிக்குள் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்படும்.  கட்டுரை பரிசீலனைக்கு தேவையெனில் ஆய்வுக்குழு கட்டுரை ஆசிரியர்களிடம் முழுக்கட்டுரையை அனுப்பிக்க கேட்கலாம்.

தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்ட கட்டுரைச் சுருக்கங்களின் முழுக்கட்டுரைகள் 4-6 பக்கங்களுக்கு மிகாமல் எங்களுக்கு உரிய தேதிக்குள் அனுப்ப வேண்டும். இவ்வகையில் கட்டுரைச் சுருக்கம் மற்றும் முழுக்கட்டுரை பற்றிய நிகழ்ச்சிகள் குழுவின் கருத்தே கடைசி முடிவாக இருக்கும்.

ஒன்றுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட கட்டுரையாளர்கள் எழுதும் கட்டுரையாளர்களுள் ஒருவரேனும் மாநாட்டில் கலந்துகொண்டு கட்டுரையை ஆய்வரங்குகளில் நேரிடையாகப் படைக்க வேண்டும். மாநாட்டில் பங்குபெறாமல் அல்லது ஒருவருக்காக வேறு ஒருவர் கட்டுரைகளைப் படைக்க இயலாது என்பதையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறொம்.

மாநாட்டில் படைக்கப்படவுள்ள கட்டுரைகள் அச்சிட்ட மாநாட்டு மலராகவும் மின்பதிப்பாகக் குறுந்தகடு வழியாகவும் வெளியிடப்பட-வுள்ளது.  இம்முறை மாநாட்டுக் கட்டுரைத் தொகுப்பு நூலகங்களுக்கான பன்னாட்டு தொடர் திரவு(ISSN) எண்ணுடன் வெளியிடுவதற்கான ஏற்பாடுகள் நடந்து வருகின்றன.  இவ்வாறான எண்ணுடன் வெளியிடப்படும் புத்தகங்கள்  உலகின் முக்கிய/பெரிய  நூலகங்களில் தக்க முறையில் நூல்கள் பட்டியலில் உள்ளிடப்பட்டு ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகளில் தரமான முறையில் கூர்வு செய்யப் பயனுள்ளதாக இருக்கும்.

தமிழ் இணைய மாநாடு 2014இல் கட்டுரையைப் படைப்பது பற்றி உங்களுக்கு ஏதாவது கேள்விகள் இருப்பின் அவற்றை cpc2014@infitt.org என்ற முகவரிக்கு மின்னஞ்சல் அனுப்புமாறு கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறோம்.

Tamil Internet 2014  (13th International Conference)

Puducherry, India  – September 19- 21, 2014

CALL FOR PAPERS 

The International Forum for Information Technology in Tamkl (INFITT) is

pleased to inform that arrangements are currently underway to hold

the next Tamil Internet Conference 2014 at Puducherry (aka Pondicherry),

 India (Pondicherry University campus) during 19-21 September 2014.

The INFITT annual conference is being co-hosted by the following

institutions: Pondicherry University, Puduvai Tamil Sangam, Puducherry

Institute of Linguistics and Cultures (PILC), Puduvai Tamil Sangam,

Pallavan Group of Institutions and the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL).

One of the committees formed to organize “Tamil Internet 2014, the

“Conference Program Committee” (CPC)* has been given the task to

collect, review and select papers for presentation in various technical

sessions of the conference. “Natural Language Processing (NLP) as applied

to Tamil” has been chosen as the principal theme for the Tamil Internet

Conference 2014.

The CPC is pleased to release the following “Call-for-Papers for presentation

at the Tamil Internet 2014″.  We welcome research papers on the following

topics to be addressed at various technical sessions of the Conference.

• NLP applications in Tamil: Spellchecker, OCR, Voice recognition,

    speech synthesis, Search engines, Machine Translation, Data-mining, etc.

• Tamil “enabling” in mobile platforms (smartphones, tablets,..) with

   particular emphasis for Tamil Apps for use on iOS, Android and Windows 8 platforms

• Open Source Tamil softwares and Tamil Localization

• Computer- and online-assisted Teaching, Learning of Tamil

• Tamil content and delivery via Internet:  Blogging, microblogging,

     Wikipedia, Podcasting, social networks,…

• Tamil Digital Library and e-content delivery across various handheld

    devices (ebooks, ezines,..)

• Tamil Databases and e-commerce

• Any other hardware, software development related to Tamil computing technology

All those interested to make an oral presentation at the conference are

requested to submit a 1-2 page (A4) summary/abstract of their planned

presentation to the CPC (email ID: cpc2014@infitt.org) on or before 30 June 2014.

The conference program committee will send an acknowledgement mail

on the receipt of the abstract.

The abstracts can be in Tamil, English or bilingual (Tamil and English) but

all abstracts must be based on Unicode encoding. The abstract submission

can be in the form of plain text (.txt), Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx),

Open office and html formats (formats where the content can be extracted).

Please try to be as precise on what you want to present.

Submission of an abstract implies that at least one author of the paper

attends the conference to present the work in person. Proxy or remote

presentation is not permitted. In cases where the message from the abstract

is not clear, CPC may request more details in the form of an expanded

 abstract (4-6 pages) to judge adequately the submission.

Authors of papers accepted for oral presentation will be informed on or

before 31 July 2014. As with the abstracts, the full paper of the presentation

(4-6 A4 size pages inclusive of all graphics and tables) is to be submitted

in the form of Plain Text, HTML, Microsoft Word or Open Office format file.

 To ensure proper formatting, full paper may be submitted “additionally” in

 the form of PDF (with font embedding). Only the quality of the final paper

will determine the participation in the conference and the decision of the

Conference Program Committee will be final in all respects.

The Conference Proceedings will be published in printed paper format

and as an e-book. Arrangements are being made to have the Conference

Proceedings of the annual Tamil Internet Conferences published with an

ISSN (International Standard Serial Number). ISSN will permit routine

indexation of the Conf. Proceedings in bibliographic databases of all

leading libraries across the globe and proper referencing of the content

of the Proceedings in academic journal publications.

சேவாலயாவில் புதிய மாணவர் விடுதியின் திறப்பு விழா

சேவாலயாவில் புதிய மாணவர் விடுதி, Foundation Page Pierre யின் உதவியுடன் 27 ஜனவரி 2014 அன்று திருநின்றவூர் அடுத்து உள்ள கசுவா கிராமத்தில் நிகழ்ந்தது.

Page Pierre Foundation யைச் சேர்ந்த திரு. பேஜ் பியர் அவர்கள் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக பங்கெடுத்தார். அவர்களுடன் Prof. Oyon பங்கு கொண்டனர்.

இந்த மாணவர் விடுதியில் 100 மாணவர்கள் தங்கும் அளவிற்கு வசதிகள் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும் விடுதியில் 14 அறைகளும் ஒரு  வழிப்பாட்டுக் கூடமும் உள்ளது.

Page Pierre Foundation பல வருடங்களாக சேவாலயாவில் பல கட்டிடங்கள் நிறுவ உதவி செய்து வருகின்றது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

சிறப்பு விருந்தினர் தன்னுடைய உரையில் சேவாலயா பல வருடங்களாக சேவைகள அனைதையும் மிகவும் திறம் பட செய்து வருவதாகவும் தான் ஒவ்வொரு முறை இங்கு வரும் பொழுதும் சேவாலயா பல் முன்னேறங்களை நிகழ்த்தி வருவதைக் கண்டு மிகவும் பெருமைக் கொள்வதாகவும் கூறினார்.

மேலும் அவருடையத் தொடர்பு சேவாலயாவுடன் இருந்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் என்றும் கூறினார்.

முன்னதாக பேசிய திரு. முரளிதரன் அவர்கள் சேவாலயாவில் Page Pierre Foundation மூலம் சேவாலயாவில் பல் நல்ல நிகழ்வுகள் நடந்துள்ளது என்றும் அவர்களுக்கு அதற்கு நன்றியையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொண்டார்.

விழா நாட்டுப் பண்ணுடன் இனிதே நிறைவடைந்தது.
