Medium:
Winsor & Newton Griffin (Alkyd)

Fast Drying Oil Color Paint.

I prefer Alkyd to traditional oil paints for the following reasons:

I am allergic to turpentine which is used in traditional oil painting.
Alkyd offers the excellent advantage of faster drying times compared to traditional oil colors, meaning that the traditional oil techniques of both impasto and glazing can be done in considerably less time and a painting can be completed in a single session.
Ideal for working indoor or outdoors.
Greater transparency means increased depth and clarity for glazes.

To paint this picture, I set up the wine bottle and the glasses in the basement with proper lighting. I worked for nearly one week to capture all the details I observed.

    கண்ணாடிக் கோப்பைகள் வழியே ஊடுருவும் ஒளியும் அதனால் ஏற்படும் கோப்பையின் நிழலும் மிகவும் சிறப்பாக வரையப்பட்டுள்ளது.

    இந்த சித்திரம் கொஞ்சம் வேடிக்கையாக உள்ளது; ஏனெனில் இதில் ப்ரபோர்ஷன் இல்லை. அந்த ப்ளேட் 12 இஞ்ச்சுக்கு மேல் இருக்காது, அது மேஜையின் பரப்பை ஆக்கிரமிக்கிறது. படத்தில் மேஜையின் அகலம் 15 இஞ்ச்சை தாண்டாது. வழக்கமாக இருவர் உட்கார்ந்து சாப்பிடும் மேஜையாக இருந்தாலும் குறைந்தபக்ஷம் 30 இஞ்ச்சாவது அகலம் இருக்கும். அது முதல் பாயிண்ட். இரண்டாவது , வைன் பாட்டிலை, உணவருந்தும் அல்லது சைட் ப்ளேட் மேல் எப்போதும் கொண்டு வருவதில்லை. நல்ல மேல் தரமான வைன் அல்லது சாம்பெயினாக இருந்தால் அதற்க்காக ஐஸ் உள்ள பாத்திரத்தில் சூடு வராமல் இருக்க வைப்பார்கள், அல்லது அப்படியே மேஜை மீதுதான் வைப்பார்கள். சைட் ப்ளேட்டில் ஏதாவது வைனுடன் கொறிக்க வைப்பார்கள்.

    இது நிஜத்துவமாக இல்லை.

    நான் நடன அறையில், ஓர் ஒதுக்குப்புறமாக, சிறு end table மேல் வைக்கப்பட்டவை இந்த மதுப்புட்டியும் கோப்பைகளும் என்ற கோணத்தில் பார்த்தேன் (இப்படத்தில் உள்ளது போல – http://assets.curbly.com/photos/0000/0014/1742/14910_zoom1.jpg).  உணவறை மேஜை என்ற எண்ணமே எனக்கு வரவில்லை.  கோணங்கள் வேறுபடுவது இயல்புதான்.

    பின்புலத்தில் ஒரு திரை அல்லதி சித்திரச் சுவர் இருப்பதுபோல் கற்பனை செய்யலாம், அது பெரிய விஷயம் இல்லை. நாம் சாதாரண அனுதின பொருள்களை அசாதரண கோணங்களில் பார்க்க விரும்புகிறொம்,. அது சித்திரங்களின் ஊக்க சக்தி. அனுதின பொருள்கள் நம்புகிறார்போல் இருக்க வேண்டும்

    மேஜைமேல் டர்காய்ஸ் நிறத்தில் அழுக்கு படாத டேபிள்க்ளாத் இருப்பது, சாப்பாட்டு மேஜைக்குதான்.

    இன்னொரு இன்கன்ஸிஸ்டன்சி. அந்த வைன் புட்டியை திறக்கவில்லை. அதன் கார்க்கை யாரும் எடுக்கவில்லை, அதே சமயம் க்ளாஸில் இருக்கும் வைனை முடிக்கவில்லை, க்ளாஸ் வைன் அப்படியே இருக்கு.

    டேபிள் காட்சி நம்பகத்தன்மை இல்லை. ஆர்டிஸ்ட் குழம்பி விட்டார்.

    If I want to, I can be insulting too.  At the moment, I choose not to.  

    If you read my introduction to the painting, you will find that this set up was done in my basement.  It is not a restaurant scene.  The objects were chosen and placed in the way I found the composition interesting. The purpose of this painting was to study the effect of light on objects.  
    By the way, both the wine glasses are empty. There is no wine in one of the glasses as you have indicated. What you see is the refraction of the table cloth. 
    I painted exactly what I saw in front of me.  And I KNOW that it is correct.
    Only the backdrop was created from imagination to complement the objects in front.
