Jayanthi sankar painting on swaminathan

Jayanthi Sankar, Singapore

After more than three weeks, I suddenly realized today that I had forgotten to share them with you all. I had in my folder a line drawing whose source is unknow, shared by my brother Ram, months back. I used it as the base for the Swaminatha swami. Colour combinations are mine.

And the other, Vishnu with Lakshmi, (named by me as) ‘Harivaksha sthasthalAlayAm’ is an inspiration from the famous Artist Kesav’s work. With my sincere respects to him, I took the basic structure and explored a different set of hues.

Preparing the A1 sized 300mg watercolor papers took me a week and painting another.

I affectionately dedicate these with the best of my wishes and heartful prayers to Ram.
