1. As instructed by Krishna, Vasudeva crosses the Yamuna, who gives way. The turbulent waves of Yamuna gave the impression that she was anguished that the Supreme was in the guise of a mortal.
2. It appeared as though Vasudeva crossed the sea of birth, Jananasindhu, for being blessed with Krishna as his son.
