More the rains and more the storage

Though we experienced good rains here in Mylapore the quantum of water that got stored was not at par with the down pour especially in the temple tank .
Its understood that Corporation commissioner had taken some extra steps to ensure that more inlets be made for the water to get stored . To ensure this GCC men started the work to lay and erect bigger inlets opposite to Sangeetha Restaurant .
Now the water flows on south mada street will automatically go into the temple tank .
The work was fully completed in three days flat but the final touches are yet to be done and the same is expected to be completed before this weekend if the rains do not hamper the work . May be we can think of more inlets of this size on all the four sides of the mada street . Probably may be even more .
