A symphony with water colour
Art by Jayanthi Sankar, Singapore
Preserving the subjects with masking fluid to create the back grounds first – with the twilight, the reflections, water surface, the door, and the night sky were the most crucial. Removing masking fluid on the A3, 300mg watercolour papers to work on the subjects needed more care and very gradual building with dilute pigment. My constant dialogues with water in the past two years have been beautifully creating an effect of a symphony in me. Lovely experience🙂
